Sauce is the key to cooking. It's a lubricant for food. It’s what activates your palate, getting flavor and texture moving in your mouth. The #1 ingredient for making a sandwich is mayo. It instantly makes every sandwich better. So we decided to make sauce that makes mayo better, so you can make every sandwich (or egg, nugget, chip, burger, etc.) better. That’s sando sauce.

A Bright, Zippy Twist on a Classic

The Tangy Dijonayo is such a pleasant surprise! It’s zippy, bold, and has this bright, mustard-forward flavor that’s elevated with little bits of cornichon for extra crunch and tang. It’s my third favorite in the Ayoh lineup, but don’t let that fool you, this one has its own unique charm and totally delivers on flavor.

What I love about it is how versatile it feels. It’s perfect for anything that needs a little mustardy kick without being overpowering. I could see myself easily using it on sandwiches, burgers, or even as a base for a quick potato or mac salad.

    How I Used It

I kept it simple but classic for my first try, and the result was so good: a Ham & Swiss Sandwich with Tangy Dijonayo. Here’s how it came together:

    Ingredients:

    Ayoh Tangy Dijonayo

    Soft white bread, lightly toasted

    Black forest ham

    Swiss cheese

    Assembly:

    1. Lightly toast the white bread and spread Tangy Dijonayo generously on both slices.

    2. Layer on black forest ham and Swiss cheese.

    3. Close it up, slice it in half, and enjoy!

This sandwich was simple but packed with flavor. The Tangy Dijonayo completely transformed it—it added a sharp, tangy bite that balanced perfectly with the creaminess of the Swiss and the smoky, savory ham. It’s proof that you don’t need anything fancy to make a standout meal when you’ve got a condiment this good! If you’re a mustard fan, Tangy Dijonayo is definitely going to be your new favorite!

    Retired Mayo Hater

I'm writing this review from my work desk and I wanna set the scene to really display how euphoric this moment was lol. POV, you're at your 9-5, its 10:30am on day 3 of trying to spend less money on lunch, and you're hungrier than usual so your boring ole' turkey and pepperjack sandwich is calling your name. Now, usually you're not a sandwich person, and you CERTANLY aren't a mayo person. A few months ago, you found out one of your fav food influencers created a Mayo Line and you thought "what the heck", and bought all 4. Fast forward to last night, you packed your sando made with Hillshire Farms turkey (I know...I know smh..), Kraft pepper jack cheese (I'll do better I promise lol), Dill Pickle mayo on one slice, and Dijonayo on the other. Now we're back to today. So boom, I already had low expectations cause I'm just not a sando person, but my budget said "girl, you dont have that luxury anymore!" so I said here goes nothing, and WOW. Like WOOOOW. Yall this sandwich, as boring as it is, IS SO GOOOOOOD. So good that I stopped coding in SQL to come here and type lol. Bravo Molly! No lie, if mayo had been introduced to me this way, with pieces of pickle and DILL (!!!) I would've seen the light years ago lol!

**As stated earlier I used both Dijon and Dill Pickle mayo's, so if you see this same review on the other one, just know I feel the exact same about both! They were both chunky, a little acidic, and paired well together. I think I'll be using dill pickle in chicken…
